Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

This policy explains what iSurge, the Mac app, and this website do with information, which is very little.

The short version

iSurge doesn’t collect your data. Everything it shows, from CPU and memory to battery, sound and the apps you run, is read on your Mac and stays on your Mac. There’s no account, no ads and no analytics or tracking code in the app.

Who we are

iSurge is made by ioiostudios (Ruthran Baskar). If you have a question about this policy or your data, email admin@cashlyapp.io.

What the app reads, and where it stays

To show its numbers, iSurge reads system information macOS makes available: processor, memory, graphics, disk, network and battery activity, temperatures and fan speeds, the apps that are running and how much each uses, sound output and volume, and connected Bluetooth devices and their battery levels.

This is processed on your Mac and never sent anywhere. The live graphs keep the last minute in memory. For the Insights report, iSurge saves a summary on your Mac (averages per minute, and each app’s totals per hour) for 30 days, then deletes it automatically. You can delete it yourself at any time in Settings. Your settings are stored on your Mac in macOS’s standard preferences.

Sound

To give each app its own volume and output, iSurge asks macOS for permission to capture app audio. Sound passes through iSurge in real time on its way to your speakers or headphones. It is never recorded, stored, analysed or sent anywhere. You can turn the permission off in System Settings › Privacy & Security at any time.

Quitting apps

When you choose to quit an app from iSurge, it asks macOS to quit that app. iSurge doesn’t look inside other apps or read their content.

Update checks

Once a day (and when you choose Check for Updates), iSurge downloads a small list of available versions from our website. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address and the app’s version to our host, Cloudflare. iSurge doesn’t send any other information about you or your Mac: system profiling is turned off. We keep no logs of these requests. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings.

This website

When you download iSurge or follow the Buy me a coffee link, we add one to a daily count for that action. Only the date and the action are stored: no IP address, no cookie and nothing that identifies you.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver it and keep it secure. We have turned off request logging on our side.

Tips on Ko-fi

Tips are optional and handled by Ko-fi and its payment partners (such as PayPal). We don’t see or store your payment details. Ko-fi may share with us the name and message you choose to leave. See Ko-fi’s privacy policy.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to improve iSurge. We don’t add you to any list, and we delete correspondence when it’s no longer needed. Ask us to delete it at any time.

Sharing and selling

We don’t sell, rent or share personal information. We have none from the app to share.

Children

iSurge isn’t directed at children and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone.

Your rights

Since the app keeps nothing about you on our side, there’s usually nothing for us to access or delete. For anything you’ve sent us, such as emails, you can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion at admin@cashlyapp.io, and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects what the app does with your data, we’ll say so in the release notes first.
